Jackfruit Seed Fry Ingredients: Jackfruit Seed - 1/2 Kg Onion - 2(chopped) Tomato - 2(chopped) Chilly Powder - 2 tbsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Ginger/Garlic Paste - 1tsp Salt to taste Oil to Saute. Water as required. Preparation 1) Peel the jackfruit seed, cut them into pieces, boil them with little salt and drain them once the jackfruit seed is soft. 2) Add oil, onion, tomato, chilly powder, turmeric, ginger/garlic paste, salt to taste and saute it for 2 mins. 3) Add 1/2 cup water in the mixture. Let it boil for 2 mins. 4) Add the boiled jackfruit seeds. 5) Combine and saute for 5-10 mins. 6) Jackfruit Seeds Fry is ready to serve. Ragi Nuts Pakoda Ingredients: Ragi Flour - 1/2 cups Gram Flour - 1 /12 cups Cashews - 50 grams Badam - 50 grams Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp Ginger/Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp Oil - For Frying Water - as required Salt - a required Preparation Cut the cashews and badam in to small pieces. In a vessel add all the dry ingredients and the cut nuts. Combine them. Add the water in batches and knead a hard dough. Add oil in a kadai. Add the dough in small pieces in the hot oil. Fry until it turns crisp. It may take around 5 mins for 1 batch. Crispy Ragi nuts pakoda is ready. Asoga Sweet Ingredients: Moong dhal - 1 1/2 cups Wheat Flour - 2 tbsp Sugar - 3 cups Water - 3 cups Cardamom - 2 nos Cashews - 50 grams Dried grapes - 50 grams Ghee - 6 to 7 tsp Food colour - 1 tsp (Optional) Salt - a pinch Preparation Take moong dhal in cooker, fry it for 2 mins. Add water in the fried moong dhal. After 3 whistles grind the moong dhal into a paste. Take 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Fry cashews and dried grapes for 2 mins. Transfer it to plate. Take wheat flour and fry it in the left ghee in the pan for 2 mins. Add the ground moong dhal paste it in the pan. Add a pinch of salt and cardamom. Let it cook for 5 mins. Add the sugar and cook for 5 mins. Add 2 tbsp of ghee and mix. Mix the food color in 1 tbsp of water. Add it to the pan. Cook for 5 mins. Add the fried cashews and grapes and cook until you get the non sticky foldable consistency. Asoga sweet is ready to serve.   Aloo Poori Ingredients: Wheat Flour - 2 cups Potato - 2 nos Suji(Rava) - 2 tbsp Jeera - 1 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp Salt - As required Water - As required Oil - For Frying Preparation Boil potato with little salt and water. Peel the outer skin once the potato is boiled and cooled. Add all the dry ingredients in a vessel. Add the boiled and grated potato in the dry ingredients. Add required salt. Combine the ingredients. Add water in batches and knead a hard dough. Let the kneaded dough stay for 15 mins. Close it with a cloth. After 15 mins, make small balls out of the dough. Flatten the small balls.   Wheat Gulab Jamun Ingredients: Milk Powder - 1/2 cup Wheat flour - 1/2 cup Baking Soda - 1 tsp Milk - 1 cup Jaggery - 1 cup Water - 2 cups Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp Ghee - 1 tsp Preparation Take Milk Powder, Wheat Flour, Baking Soda in bowl and combine. Add milk powder gradually and knead dough. Make small balls out of knead dough. Add jaggery in water and boil until you get 1 string consistency. Fry the jamun ball in hot oil and drop it in jaggery syrup. Let the jamun stay in the syrup for 1 night. Wheat jamun is ready to serve. Masala Sundal (Street Style) - Ready in 20 minutes Ingredients White Peas - 250 Grams Oil - 2 tsp Onion - 2 chopped Tomato - 2 chopped Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp Garam Masala - 1 tsp Chilly Powder - 2 tbsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp Coconut - 4 tsp Salt - As required Preparation Boil the white peas in water with little salt. Add 1 tsp oil in a kadai. Once the oil is hot add the fennel seeds and chopped onion in the oil. Add salt to it and saute it for 2 mins. Once the onion is soft, add chopped tomatoes and saute it for 2 mins. Add the garam masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste. Drain the white peas water into the masala mixture and boil until the raw smell goes off. This may take around 5-6 mins.Add the boiled white peas and cook for 5 mins. Add water gradually and combine the ingredients until it reaches the desired consistency. It will have flowing consistency as a normal idly batter. Heat water in the idly pot.
