Ingredients:

  • Wheat Flour - 2 cups
  • Potato - 2 nos
  • Suji(Rava) - 2 tbsp
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - As required
  • Water - As required
  • Oil - For Frying

Preparation

  1. Boil potato with little salt and water. Peel the outer skin once the potato is boiled and cooled.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients in a vessel.
  3. Add the boiled and grated potato in the dry ingredients.
  4. Add required salt.
  5. Combine the ingredients.
  6. Add water in batches and knead a hard dough.
  7. Let the kneaded dough stay for 15 mins. Close it with a cloth.
  8. After 15 mins, make small balls out of the dough.
  9. Flatten the small balls.
  10. Fry the flatten chappathis in hot oil.
  11. Aloo poori is ready to serve.
