Masala Sundal
(Street Style) - Ready in 20 minutes
Ingredients
White Peas - 250 Grams
Oil - 2 tsp
Onion - 2 chopped
Tomato - 2 chopped
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Chilly Powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Coconut - 4 tsp
Salt - As required
Preparation
Boil the white peas in water with little salt.
Add 1 tsp oil in a kadai. Once the oil is hot add the fennel seeds and chopped onion in the oil. Add salt to it and saute it for 2 mins.
Once the onion is soft, add chopped tomatoes and saute it for 2 mins.
Add the garam masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste.
Drain the white peas water into the masala mixture and boil until the raw smell goes off. This may take around 5-6 mins.Add the boiled white peas and cook for 5 mins.
Garnish with chopped onion, chopped carrot and coconut
Tasty masala sundal is ready to serve.
