Ragi Palak Puri - Millet Recipe





Ragi Palak Puri is a very tasty and healthy recipe made of ragi millet and Palak.

Ingredients

Palak2 cups
Wheat Flour2 cups
Ginger1 inch
Garlic3
Green Chilly2
Suji(Rava)2 tbsp

Preparation:
Palak Paste Preparation:

1) Boil the 2 cups of palak in one cup of water with 1 tsp salt for 2 mins. Do not over boil as it may get bitter taste.
2) Drain the palak from the water once it is cool.
3) Grind the boiled palak with ginger, garlic and chilly.  The paste should be soft..
4) Take a bowl add the wheat flour, ragi flour, suji and the ground palak paste. Add required salt in it and knead the dough by adding water in batches. Knead a hard dough.
5) Now make small balls and flatten the balls.
6) Heat oil in a kadai and fry the pooris. 

Tip:
1) If you pour the hot oil top of the poori it will puffs up which will give you puffed puri.
2) If you add suji in the flour while kneading, the poori puff will last for long time.
